Stamped Concrete Restoration/Sealing
Stamped concrete that has not been sealed or maintained will show signs of wear, such as fading, cracking, and flaking. To restore the stamped concrete to its original condition, our restoration process includes the following steps:
1. Clean and profile the surface: This involves removing any dirt, debris, and stains, and lightly etching the surface to create a texture that will allow the new coatings to adhere properly.
2. Repair any cracks or chips: Any imperfections in the stamped concrete will be repaired using a suitable repair material. This helps to ensure that the surface is smooth and even before the new coatings are applied.
3. Apply a bonding agent or primer: This creates a strong and durable bond between the old and new coatings.
4. Re-seal the stamp with a solid color infusion sealer and anti-slip additive: This helps to restore the original color and texture of the stamped concrete, as well as improve its durability and slip- resistance.
5. Apply a top coat infusion sealer with a color enhancer: This helps to create a long-lasting and attractive finish that is resistant to fading, cracking, and flaking.
